Your Purpose is to Awaken

The Ascended Masters tell us the story of our existence, and it goes like this. We originally came to the earth 14 million years ago. We were created in the image of the Infinite Mother/Father God and as such, we were Divine Beings.

We chose to come to earth in order to experience being Divine in a physical body, in a physical world and to create perfection in the world. For millions of years we lived able to express our God given nature. Until one day we decided to begin an experiment. The experiment involved placing a veil of forgetfulness over our consciousness so that we could wake up, remember who we were and re-unite with our God Presence.

The experiment went terribly awry and we fell into a deep sleep. As we slept, we made up a new story explaining who we were. The new story was steeped in duality, lack and limitation. Overtime, the one veil became multiple veils - our vibration grew dense, our consciousness became saturated with limited beliefs, and the way back home to God grew more distant and difficult.

Eckhart Tolle, in A New Earth Awakening to Your Life's Purpose says, "Your life has an inner and an outer purpose. Inner purpose concerns Being and is primary. Outer purpose concerns doing and is secondary. Your inner purpose is to awaken. It is as simple as that. You share that purpose with every other person on the planet - because it is the purpose of humanity".

Here are a few facts about awakening. We will all awaken and will do so according to our own time frame. Awakening occurs due to an act of grace so until it occurs, there is nothing to do about it. Once the awakening begins, it prompts us to want more and we begin to consciously seek the truth and evolve.

Has your awakening begun? If so, the following exercise will support your evolution.

  1. Embrace your Divinity
    1. Meditate each day on the God within and above you. Send love to your Divine self and be grateful for who you are.
  2. Unravel and release human lack and limitation.
    1. If you want to know what your limiting beliefs are, listen to your negative self talk. Once you know the lies you have told yourself, change your mind. Consider hiring a coach to help you through this process. I use two techniques, PSYCH-K and Access Bars.
  3. Study Universal Truths
