Testimonials I initially hired Suzanne as my coach,
for a one year contract, in an effort to refocus and rejuvenate a retail
business that I had owned and managed for 23 years. It was an eye-opening
experience, and I eagerly anticipated each weekly coaching session. The
final result? I realized I had been disillusioned with retail for years. I
completely changed directions, focused on those aspects of my work that I
enjoyed the most, sold the retail business and consequently haven't been
this happy in years! I would never have opened my eyes to the
opportunity that was there without Suzanne's coaching guidance. She
doesn't tell you, "do this and do that!" Instead, she enhances your own
ability to look at yourself objectively and then act on it!
Suzanne came across as a mentor at first and then as an encouraging friend
as the sessions developed. She can be 'direct' if you backslide, and
enthusiastic when you are attaining your goals. I have found that the
year she served as my coach was one of the more important years of my career
and life. And, I've never been able to thank her enough!

I have been working with Suzanne for the past two months both on an
individual basis and through our corporation. We have had fabulous results,
secondary to our coaching. Suzanne has coached us through several roadblocks
that have hindered our companies' growth for years. We have also learned to
use honest, open communication to create a work atmosphere that I look
forward to being part of. I cannot wait to see what the future has in
store for myself and our company.

Coaching has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I was
reluctant to invest the money in this relationship at first because of the
responsibilities of having four young children to care for at home and only
one family income. However this experience has been the best money I have
ever invested. Personally, I am working toward my goals, I feel more
centered, at peace and confident. My children have received probably
the greatest benefit. Instead of reacting emotionally to challenges
parenting offers, I am able to address them calmly and effectively. My
children feel safer to come to me and express themselves and have given me
very good feedback both verbally and non-verbally. I don't have the time or
space to express the full benefit that my family has received, but I
firmly believe that everyone would benefit enormously from this
investment.

Having a personal coach helped me to stay true to my goals and intentions...
encouraging me to commit to an action plan each week with success or
"excuses." Hearing my thoughts reflected in the coach's words either with
celebration for the success of the week's movement forward or in the
uncomfortable awareness of another unsubstantiated excuse kept me in
check with my true level of commitment. I have learned to have more
awareness of my potential for choices in how to budget my time.

I've always been a positive person with a positive attitude. But my
coach helps me maintain that positive thinking so that I choose to focus on
what I can do rather than what I cannot do. Coaching helps me find
ways to accomplish things that I think I may not be able to accomplish.
Having a coach:
-
helps me to develop goals and deadlines for myself, and provides the
accountability to work consistently, assessing and adjusting the process
as I work towards completion.
-
helped me learn and practice speaking the truth directly to a
person without fearing what they might think about me.
-
helped me learn that what others think and say about me is not what is
important, that I am the one whose opinion matters most to me.
I often recommend coaching to people and more importantly I use the
coaching tools I've learned on a regular basis to support people in my life.
